Dr. Jared Black
Founder & President
Dr. Jared Black is the Founder and President of Arizona Bible College in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Black has over a decade of higher education and student affairs experience, primarily serving Christian colleges and universities.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Black served as the Dean of Students & Title IX Coordinator at Arizona Christian University, a senior leadership role within the University. Earlier in his career, Dr. Black worked in a variety of student affairs contexts, including with student clubs & organizations (University of Kentucky), campus life activities (Arizona State University), and residence life (Belmont University).
Dr. Black earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Studies in Higher Education from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Belmont University.
In addition to his position with Arizona Bible College, Dr. Black serves as a part-time Faculty Associate at Arizona State University where he teaches graduate courses within the Higher and Postsecondary Education program.
A native Kentuckian, Dr. Black enjoys following University of Kentucky athletics, playing guitar in the worship band at church, and learning new songs on the piano. He and his wife Natalie live in Phoenix, Arizona with their three sons.
